LA MANAGEMENT PARTNERS WITH AUTOMATIC ENTERTAINMENT

In-House Production is the Name of the Game

 

November 16, 2015 (Los Angeles, CA) LA Management and Automatic Entertainment have partnered together to form a more comprehensive management organization, and have agreed to a 5-picture deal, and the joint representation of writers and directors. LA Management has been primarily distinguished as a talent management company representing actors in television, motion capture, and feature films. Automatic Entertainment is a worldwide sales agency that handles a diverse variety of cinema.

 

This timely merger with the two companies forges together a diverse team of managers that are accomplished business owners, and successful in their expert ability to fully navigate the careers of the people and projects they represent.

 

The Players:

President of LA Management, Inc., Anthony Topman founded the company in 2006 and is a producer, talent manager and casting director. His leadership in managing talent and producing features has led to multiple prominent roles in studio features and series regulars. Topman hassold and produced feature films and reality series. 

 

Constance Tillotson is a senior talent manager. With her 20 years experience as a top acting coach, actor, writer, director and producer, she guides her young actors in all facets of the Entertainment Business. Her actors are Series Regulars and Guest Stars, and can be seen in “The Middle,” “Ray Donovan,” “black-ish,” “Boardwalk Empire,” “Criminal Minds,” “Law & Order” and the upcoming mini-series “Roots.” Features include “Sex Tape,” “Hunger Games” “Mockingjay,” “The Hangover 2,” and “Insurgent.”

 

Addison Witt is a senior talent manager. He is also an acting coach, producer, and TV personality. He became noted as a canine agent on 3 different reality series in the US, Canada, and Britain. Addison was the PR manager for LePaws, a canine talent agency in LA, and a board member for the Burbank International Film Festival in 2012. As a manager of people Addison Witt has achieved acclaim in television, including clients on the Emmy winning Breaking Bad, Supernatural, and Transparent.

 

Trisanne Marin is a youth manager. She adheres to a high quality of service for the clients she represents in all areas of television, New Media, and features.  

 

Michael Lurie has overseen the marketing and sales of over 200 titles to more than 50 territories. Before launching Automatic Entertainment with Jeffrey Giles, he held the head of sales position for a number of sales agencies.

 

Jeffrey Giles rose up in the ranks at Avi Lerner and Danny Dimbort’s powerhouse mini-studio NuImage/Millennium Films. His experience and knowledge on international pricing, sales, marketing and packaging have been invaluable in propelling Automatic to become one of the industry’s fastest growing sales agencies.   

 

In some ways this partnering represents a microcosm of a larger Hollywood studio system with an intimate and personal touch. The representation of talent, choosing which projects to produce, and then directing the selling of those projects to the appropriate market is the new face of management and representation for companies like LA Management and Automatic Entertainment that now compete on a global level.
